EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Tommie Harris and Devin Aromashodu are back in the mix for the Chicago Bears.
Six days after being healthy scratches against Green Bay, Harris and Aromashodu are active for the Bears' Sunday night matchup versus the New York Giants.
Bears coach Lovie Smith called the decision to bench Harris "performance-based," but the defensive tackle's hiatus was limited to only one game. Matt Toeaina will start for a second straight week in place of Harris.
After leading the Bears with 10 targets in Week 1, Aromashodu played only one snap in Dallas before being a healthy scratch on Monday night. He fell off the radar after dropping several passes and failing to block effectively downfield in the Bears' Week 1 win over Detroit.
Tim Jennings gets the nod over Zack Bowman at left cornerback. Jennings replaced Bowman in the second quarter against Green Bay, after Bowman missed an open-field tackle.
Veteran tight end Desmond Clark is the odd man out and will be inactive because the Bears will dress all five receivers.
Other Bears inactives include: Chris Williams, Major Wright, Caleb Hanie (third QB), Joshua Moore, Kahlil Bell, Corey Wootton and Marcus Harrison.
Jeff Dickerson covers the Bears for ESPNChicago.com and ESPN 1000.
