Brett Favre active, extends start streak

MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre extended his record streak of consecutive games started to 290 on Sunday.
Favre was listed as questionable this week because of tendinitis in his throwing elbow, but was under center as the Vikings took on the Cowboys.
The Vikings also put rookie cornerback Chris Cook on the inactive list for Sunday's game against Dallas. Cook was listed as questionable, recovering from a torn meniscus in his left knee.
The Vikings put rookie running back Toby Gerhart the active list and fullback Naufahu Tahi on the inactive list. Center John Sullivan was active, but Jon Cooper was listed as the starter. Sullivan was questionable because of a calf injury.
Dallas rookie wide receiver Dez Bryant was on the active list. He was listed as questionable because of rib and ankle injuries.
