The disputed play occurred Friday night in Game 6 of the AL championship series. Texas leads the Yankees in the series by 3-2.
With Alex Rodriguez on third base in the fifth inning, Texas' Colby Lewis threw a pitch that bounced and hit batter Nick Swisher in the shin. The ball ricocheted to the backstop and Rodriguez came home with a run that made it 1-all. Rangers catcher Bengie Molina didn't move because he thought the play was dead.
Umpires missed what happened, even though replays clearly showed it. It's another postseason play that could've turned out differently if umpires used video technology for more than home runs.
