Dwyane Wade sits with sprained wrist
By Brian Windhorst
MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Heat guard Dwyane Wade did not play in Miami's 97-95 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night because of a sprained left wrist.
Wade suffered the injury after a hard fall in the first half of the Heat's victory over the Charlotte Bobcats on Friday night. Wade had a collision with Charlotte guard Sherron Collins on a drive to the basket and braced his fall with the wrist.
He finished the game but scored just 10 points on 4-of-13 shooting as he was also battling the flu.
Wade had X-rays Saturday in Memphis that showed no break. The team is listing him as day to day.
Jerry Stackhouse will start in Wade's place for the Heat, who are riding a three-game win streak.
