Corey Crawford to start Tuesday
CHICAGO -- Chicago Blackhawks winger Marian Hossa had to be helped off the ice Monday after a collision with Nick Boynton during practice.
"I'm good," Boynton said. "I just kinda got the wind knocked out of me, personally.
"I'm not sure if he got the worst end of the stick. We both obviously didn't see each other, so I'm not sure what's up."
The Blackhawks, who host the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday in their first game after a six-game road trip, did not issue a statement on Hossa's status. And Hossa was not available after practice.
Meanwhile, goaltender Marty Turco, who went 1-2 on the trip, said Corey Crawford will start in net against the Blues.
"Corey is going to play, I think," Turco said. "He should, he's been playing great. He's been playing great all year, and he's won a few in a row.
"We want to get on a roll. I'm here to win, no matter what. He's a big part of our team. [We'll] see if he can continue to play well, and [get us] points, and I'll just stay ready until I can get back in there."
Crawford, who won back-to-back games to close the trip in Anaheim on Friday and Los Angeles the next night, said he's getting more confident.
"I think I feel better and better with each game I get," Crawford said. "It's just a matter of keeping those feelings and keep working hard, and hopefully everyone is on the same page and we're getting two more points."
