LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- Right-handed reliever D.J. Carrasco has agreed to a two-year, $2.5 million deal with the New York Mets, a source with knowledge of the talks told ESPNNewYork.com.

The deal is pending a physical.

Carrasco, 33, went a combined 3-2 with a 3.68 ERA in 63 relief appearances for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Arizona Diamondbacks last season.

The Mets also agreed to a one-year, $1.3 million deal that includes performance-based incentives with backup catcher Ronny Paulino, a source close to the situation told ESPN The Magazine's Jorge Arangure Jr. on Tuesday.
