Cavs lose Joey Graham, Leon Powe
ESPN.com news services
CLEVELAND -- The losses and the injuries are mounting for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Forward Joey Graham will miss the next two to three weeks with a partial tear in his right quad, and forward Leon Powe will be out for at least a week with a lacerated finger.
Graham originally injured the quad in training camp, but returned and recently worked his way into the starting lineup. He re-injured the quad against Miami on Wednesday night. Graham, who is averaging 7.1 points in 16 games, is one of Cleveland's best defensive players.
Powe is averaging 4.6 points in 11 games. He caught his right middle finger on the net while trying to dunk during practice Thursday, causing a large gash.
The injuries further shortened coach Byron Scott's bench, but the Cavaliers ended their 10-game losing streak with a 109-102 win over the Knicks on Saturday night.
