A night of college hoops action


College football is over. How will you ever survive without it? College basketball, that's how! We've got a great lineup of college hoops (along with some NBA action) to keep us distracted tonight. Here's what we're watching.

Men's College Basketball:

No. 21 Wisconsin (12-3, 2-1 Big Ten) at No. 24 Michigan State (10-5, 2-1 Big Ten) (7 p.m. ET/ESPN). The Badgers have won five of the last seven meetings between these two Big Ten rivals, but Michigan State dominates the rivalry at home (15-4 all-time). What to watch for: Michigan State guard Kalin Lucas (1,633 career points and 496 career assists) needs four assists to become just the fourth Spartan to total 1,500 career points and 500 career assists. No. 14 Texas (12-3, 0-0 Big 12) at Texas Tech (8-8, 0-1 Big 12) (7 p.m. ET/ESPN2). Texas has won four straight against Texas Tech.

Auburn (7-8, 0-1 SEC) at No. 15 Kentucky (12-3, 0-1 SEC) (7 p.m. ET, ESPNU): UK's 26-game home winning streak is the fourth-longest in the country.

Florida (12-3, 1-0 SEC) at Tennessee (10-5, 0-1 SEC) (9 p.m. ET/ESPN): Tennessee has won 10 out of the last 13 in the series.

NBA: Here are some of the noteworthy NBA games: Spurs (31-6) at Timberwolves (9-29) (8 p.m. ET): San Antonio has won 15 straight against Minnesota ... NY Knicks (21-15) at Portland (20-18) (10 p.m. ET): Portland has won seven of the last eight in this series and nine of the last ten in the series at home ... Cleveland Cavaliers (8-29) at Los Angeles Lakers (27-11) (10:30 p.m. ET): The Lakers have won four straight games and the Cavs have lost 10 straight and 20 of 21 overall.
