Loui Eriksson missed two games
By Mark Stepneski
DALLAS -- Forward Loui Eriksson, the Dallas Stars' second-leading scorer this season, appears ready to return to the lineup for Wednesday's game after missing the last two games with concussion-like symptoms.
The Stars host the Anaheim Ducks. Both teams are tied with 85 points for the No. 8 spot in the Western Conference playoff race, with Anaheim holding the edge with 10 games remaining in the regular season.
"Loui is looking pretty good," Stars coach Marc Crawford said at Wednesday morning's skate at American Airlines Center. "He skated this morning and all signs are pointing towards the fact that he'll play."
Eriksson, who has 23 goals and 40 assists this season, left a game March 15 after being hit in the head by San Jose defenseman Douglas Murray.
The Stars will have 13 healthy forwards with Eriksson's return, meaning Krys Barch could be the odd man out against the Ducks.
Defensemen Karlis Skrastins (leg laceration) and Nicklas Grossman (knee) and forwards Adam Burish (leg) and Brian Sutherby (back) are out.
Kari Lehtonen gets the start in goal for the Stars. It will be his 14th straight start.
