What do you think? Is this the week Tiger Woods roars again by clawing to his fifth Masters victory at Augusta National? Or will his next green jacket come from a clearance sell at Men's Wearhouse?
Woods' chances hardly improved Sunday. He was practicing at Augusta National and slipping to seventh in the world rankings, his lowest spot since he won his first Masters in 1997. Meanwhile Phil Mickelson was winning the Houston Open by three strokes and rising with a bullet to No. 3 in the world.
Have there been hints that Tiger's game remains off-track? That's what we want from you this week, suggestions we will use to comprise a "Top 10 Hints That Tiger Is Not Ready" list. And you know the kind of hints we want so, please, nothing about how he can correct his golf swing plane. At the same time, there is a "line" that you cannot cross into salaciousness if you hope to see your suggestion in the list.
Send your hints to email@example.com -- including your first name, initial of your last name and your location. And please be more specific on your location than "planet earth" as one contributor used last week.
In case you have not been keeping score, Woods has not won in his past 21 tries, dating to a victory in the 2009 Australian Masters -- and nobody knows what color jacket he got for winning that. His last major victory was in the 2008 US Open at Torrey Pines.
Tempus fugit. That's why you have until noon Wednesday to contribute. The list will appear here Thursday just in time for the first round of the Masters. Who knows? Perhaps Tiger Woods will read the list and find inspiration there.
