The Cowboys expect Mike Jenkins to have a much better season, and he has the skills to do so. Dez Bryant moves up the food chain because of his playmaking ability. Jay Ratliff (left) needs a better 2011 than 2010; he missed too many plays last season and that's got to stop.
While some would think Kyle Kosier had a better season, Andre Gurode (left) reached the Pro Bowl and played through nagging injuries. Stephen Bowen, if signed to a deal, will be a steady force at defensive end. Tyron Smith enters the top 20 because he'll either be the starting right tackle or left tackle.
DeMarco Murray will push Tashard Choice (left) for playing time; at least that's the goal of the front office. Marc Colombo, Marion Barber, Marcus Spears and Roy Williams might not return. It appears Kris Brown has the edge as the field goal kicker because of David Buehler's inconsistency.
Sean Lee, if healthy, will get more playing time. Team officials keep raving about Josh Brent, and Jerry Jones said it was as if he were an extra draft choice. Kevin Ogletree (left) will get a chance to show he can be the No. 3 receiver if Roy Williams is sent packing.
Alan Ball (left) gets moved to corner and will be pushed by Bryan McCann and rookie Joshua Thomas. Bruce Carter should get ranked higher, but his availability for the season opener is questionable because of his recovery time from a torn ACL.
Akwasi Owusu-Ansah (left) is coming off an injury, and Jerry Jones said special teams coordinator Joe DeCamillis told him he was the second-best returner behind Dez Bryant. Dwayne Harris will get a chance to play because the team likes how physical he is as a receiver. David Arkin is a project and, along with Phil Costa, is another player added for depth.
Alex Barron won't be here in 2011, but Bill Nagy (left) will and the team likes how he finishes blocks and thinks he has a future as a possible swing tackle. Teddy Williams might get a long look in training camp, and he did well on the scout team last year. Jermey Parnell is another project who has to do something in the preseason.
