Brian Boucher gets start for Flyers

PHILADELPHIA -- Brian Boucher will start in net for the Flyers against the Boston Bruins in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals Monday, Philadelphia coach Peter Laviolette announced.
Boucher, a native of Woonsocket, R.I., allowed five goals and was pulled in the waning minutes of the second period of the Flyers' 7-3 loss in Game 1 on Saturday.
"Brian will go back in net today," Laviolette said. "Today is a game where we all get to go back in there and try and right some wrongs. So everybody gets an opportunity. He deserves it."
While the Flyers have been dealing with a goaltending situation all season, the Bruins have received solid goaltending from Vezina Trophy finalist Tim Thomas. But anytime you ask any of the Bruins players or coach Claude Julien about Thomas, everyone is quick to mention backup Tuukka Rask, too.
"We know what he's capable of doing and that's why everybody keeps talking about Tuukka as well," Julien said. "We're a team and he's part of our hockey team. Mentioning him is letting everybody know that he's not a forgotten man."
