LAWRENCE, Kan. -- Oklahoma receiver Ryan Broyles broke the FBS career receptions record with a 57-yard touchdown catch during the second quarter of Saturday night's 47-17 victory over Kansas.
Broyles finished with 13 catches for a school-record 217 yards, including a 57-yard touchdown grab midway through the second quarter. The catch broke former Purdue standout Taylor Stubblefield's record of 316 receptions -- Broyles finished the game with 326 in his career.
Broyles also broke the Big 12 record for career touchdown catches, passing Oklahoma State's Rashaun Woods. Broyles has 43 touchdown catches.
