Shayne Graham signs with Dolphins

A strained groin will prevent Dan Carpenter from kicking Sunday for the Miami Dolphins against the Buffalo Bills. As a result, Miami signed veteran kicker Shayne Graham on Saturday to kick in the game.
Carpenter hurt his right groin in practice Thursday and was limited in Friday's workout for the Dolphins, who started the season 0-7 but have won their last two games.
Carpenter has made 18 of his 22 field goal attempts this season and is a perfect 14-for-14 on extra points.
Graham was in training camp with the Dallas Cowboys and kicked in eight games with the New England Patriots and one with the New York Giants last season.
In 136 career games, Graham has made 208 of 242 field goal attempts.
