TJ Barron is one of the North Shore's hardest chargers. This holiday season has been full of deep Pipe bombs and ramp sections. But he was able to take some time to grab his family a Norfolk Pine from Oahu's Helemano Farms, the only Christmas tree farm in Hawaii. And he bought us along.
The cool thing about this farm is that if you leave one branch on the stump when you make your cut, the tree fully grows back. The trees will last through April and then you can bring it back and they mulch it to grow future trees. Barron selects a gem and cuts it down himself. (And yes, that's him picking the uke in the background.) Video by Alex DePhillipo.
