2011-12 NBA champions
In the great tradition of the ESPN NBA Summer Forecast, it's time to roll out our first Winter Forecast.
For foresight, we consulted with 115 of ESPN's best basketball minds, including contributors from ESPN.com, the TrueHoop Network, TrueHoop TV, Daily Dime Live, ESPN TV, ESPN Radio, ESPN Deportes, espnW, ESPN The Magazine, ESPN Insider, ESPN Fantasy, ESPN Games, ESPN Dallas, ESPN Los Angeles, ESPN Boston, ESPN Chicago, ESPN New York, ESPN Stats & Information, ESPN Topics and ESPN Analytics.
And yes, our voters slid their ballots under the door before any games were played on Opening Day.
To participate in the discussion and perhaps get your opinion published on this page, #NBApicks is the Twitter hashtag to use. Or you can just follow along at @NBAonESPN. Check out the East champs here and the West here.
Enjoy, argue, agree, disagree ...
2011-12 Forecast: NBA champions
Miami Heat 2010-11 record: 58-24 Lost in NBA finals of '10-11 playoffs Predicted 2011-12 record: 50-16
@Keaner89: The Heat will win it all. With Wade and LeBron they have to much speed and defense for teams to handle in a 7 game series, #NBApicks
@SpencerGotSwag8: #NBApicks is the only place LeBron will ever get a ring. I'd like to see him show up in a finals series before we all crown the heat.
