FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- The son of Arkansas basketball coach Mike Anderson has been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.
Michael Anderson, 26, a video coordinator for the Razorbacks, was pulled over by Fayetteville police at 3:43 a.m. local time Sunday, hours after Arkansas' win over Mississippi State.
Anderson's blood-alcohol level was 0.10, above the 0.08 limit for driving, according to a police report. Anderson was randomly braking and had "horrible" balance during a test, according to police.
Anderson's father said he is disappointed and hopes his son will learn from the situation.
The arrest is Anderson's second alcohol-related arrest. He was also arrested on suspicion of drunken driving while a reserve guard at Missouri in 2007 and was suspended by his father, who was then coach at Mizzou.
