Arsenal's Jack Wilshere has setback
LONDON -- Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has had another injury setback, suffering a stress fracture in his right heel while recovering from an ankle problem.
The English midfielder has not played for his Premier League club this season after injuring his right ankle in June.
Wilshere, who needed surgery after initially wearing a protective boot, was set to return early this month, but felt pain when running in training last week.
"I have a stress fracture but it is not in the same area as my first injury which has healed very (well) which I am happy about," Wilshere wrote on Twitter. "I have developed a stress fracture in the (heel) now and I don't want to put any time scale on it as I do not know how long it will take."
