CHICAGO -- Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews is "unlikely" to play Tuesday night when his team hosts the St. Louis Blues at the United Center, according to coach Joel Quenneville.
The Hawks took the day off the ice on Monday, as did Toews as he recovers from a concussion, which has kept him out of the lineup for the past 10 games. The Hawks are 5-4-1 without him.
Toews practiced on Sunday before the Hawks hosted the Los Angeles Kings but did not take contact. He's been skating for about a week and hasn't played in a game since Feb. 19.
The Hawks play in Dallas on Friday before hosting the Washington Capitals on Sunday.
