Titans' Jordan Babineaux re-signs

ESPN.com news services

Safety Jordan Babineaux agreed to a contract to return to the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday, the team announced.

With incentives, the two-year contract can max out at $5.2 million, a source told ESPN.com's John Clayton.

He was one of three Titans safeties scheduled to be unrestricted free agents, along with Michael Griffin and Chris Hope. Griffin, however, received the team's franchise tag.

Babineaux had 93 tackles, an interception and a forced fumble for the Titans last season. He also played for Titans defensive coordinator Jerry Gray with the Seattle Seahawks.

Tennessee also made a few other moves. The Titans signed linebacker Patrick Bailey to a multi-year contract before free agency opened.

Guard Fernando Velasco and defensive end Malcolm Sheppard signed deals as exclusive rights free agents.

Information from ESPN AFC South blogger Paul Kuharsky and The Associated Press was used in this report.
