ECNL U15 Power Rankings

By Sheldon Shealer & Chris Ackels
ESPNHS Staff

No matches equal no change in this week's ECNL Under-15 power rankings.

Not one the top five teams were in action last week, but this week will be a different story. No. 2 Colorado Rush and No. 4 SoCal Blues are both in action this weekend at the ECNL San Diego event.

While three of the five-ranked teams are idle this weekend, the results in San Diego could radically change next week's rankings. The one thing that won't change will be Gwinnett Soccer Association's ranking. This Georgia power is undefeated and finished for the regular season, which means it will carry the No. 1 ranking into the playoffs.

T hroughout the rest of the season, ESPNHS will offer a weekly glance at the top five teams in each age group.

It should be noted, these rankings are not predictive, but rather reactive to the results. In other words, the higher ranked team has accomplished something on the field to earn that position for now. As such, we expect quite a bit of turnover in the rankings throughout the rest of the ECNL season.
