Vancouver Canucks forward Daniel Sedin will not travel to Los Angeles for Game 3 of the Western Conference quarterfinal series Sunday night against the Kings, coach Alain Vigneault confirmed Saturday after practice in Vancouver.

Vigneault did not rule out Sedin for the remainder of the series, however.

Sedin, the team's leading goal scorer, has missed the last 11 games with a concussion suffered March 21 during a 2-1 overtime loss to the Blackhawks. Chicago defenseman Duncan Keith was suspended five games for using his elbow to hit Sedin on the play.

The Canucks managed to win eight of their final nine regular-season games without Sedin, but lost the opening two games of this series to the Kings in Vancouver. They've been especially poor on the power play, a unit that Sedin anchored, going 4 for 52 since he was injured, including 0 for 10 in the first two games of the series.

Game 4 of the best-of-seven series is scheduled for Wednesday night. The Kings are trying to win their first playoff series since 2001 and end a five-game postseason losing streak at Staples Center.
