Detailed Sandusky allegations filed news services

The state attorney general's office on Friday filed more detailed accusations against former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky, according to a report by the Allentown Morning Call.

According to the report, the new accusations provide in-depth descriptions of the alleged sexual acts Sandusky performed on 10 boys, including more specific information on the nature, time and location of the alleged abuses.

Prosecutors, according to the report, will not add or withdraw any of the 52 counts of sexual abuse against Sandusky.

The detailed accusations come after Sandusky's attorney, Joe Amendola, argued on Wednesday that many of the allegations were so short on specific details that Sandusky wouldn't be able to effectively defend himself.

Amendola, according to the report, repeatedly has requested information to aid him in building a defense for Sandusky.
