Editor's note: The 2012 NCAA baseball tournament bracket will be unveiled on Monday, May 28 at noon ET on ESPNU.
Here are the final regular-season Power Rankings
Of note: The Ducks are on an eight-game winning streak, giving up just 16 runs during that span. This weekend's Civil War series at Oregon State has numerous postseason ramifications.
Of note: The Owls have now won a regular-season or tournament title for 17 straight years. Reliever Tyler Duffey threw 3.2 innings in two wins at UCF, getting 10 of his 11 outs by strikeout.
Of note: The Tigers waltzed into Carolina Stadium and won two of three games to win the regular-season conference crown. A key Friday win saw LSU hand Gamecocks ace Michael Roth his first loss, tagging him for 10 hits and getting four walks.
Of note: The Gators lost out on a piece of the SEC title with Saturday's loss at Auburn, which was decided when Preston Tucker was thrown out at the plate for the final out of the game.
Of note: The Bruins are 19-4 away from Jackie Robinson Stadium and feature freshman David Berg, who has pitched in 14 straight games and set a Bruins' record with 39 appearances this season.
Of note: The Bears shook the blahs of last week's sweep at OU by taking two of three versus Texas. They'll have a chance at revenge with the Sooners on their side of the Big 12 tourney bracket.
Of note: The Seminoles put the brakes on a 2-5 skid with a pair of wins over NC State and will enter the ACC tournament as the top seed. OF James Ramsey was named ACC Player of the Year.
Of note: Since Colin Moran's return, the Heels have won 12 straight, outscoring their opponents 83-20. Kent Emanuel, Benton Moss and Hobbs Johnson are combined 20-6 with 1.81 ERA.
Of note: The Gamecocks missed the SEC title by a half-game, dropping a 3-2 decision to LSU on Saturday. But this is one uber-competitive team, as 11 of its 15 losses have come by a single run.
Of note: Since Tax Day, the Cardinal have compiled a 14-4 record, including a sweep at Utah this week in which the arms corps gave up just two runs on 17 hits with 31 strikeouts.
Of note: The Aggies are still fighting for a national seed and will face Kansas, Missouri and Texas in Big 12 tournament, teams against which they had a 6-3 against during the regular season.
Of note: The Wildcats would love to showcase Hi Corbett Field with a home regional; they still have a shot after routing Arizona State 10-2 and then winning a series at USC this week.
Of note: A couple of weeks ago, Purdue coach Doug Schreiber told me he knew the past two weekends versus Michigan and Iowa would kill the RPI. Not sure he expected two losses in that Hawkeye series. Ouch.
Of note: For the first time since 1988, the Sun Devils have swept four straight home conference series after likely dashing Washington's NCAA at-large hopes this past weekend. Unfortunately, there will be no NCAA tournament play for ASU this season.
Of note: A home regional is still possible and the Cavs will get a shot at revenge against Florida State on Saturday in the ACC tournament. Does a good showing there get them into consideration for a national seed?
Of note: With five straight 2-1 Big East weekends, the Cardinals fought their way to a share of the Big East title with St. John's, their third conference title in four years.
Of note: It was a tough weekend for the Cats, as they dropped all three games at Mississippi State. Does this show that the Wildcats are possibly running low on gas? Keep an eye on them at the SEC tournament in Hoover, Ala.
Of note: With a 1-3 week, it looks like the Titans may have seen their youth cost them a shot at a home regional. This weekend's series with Long Beach State will decide the Big West title.
Of note: The youthful Pack couldn't quite pull the upset at Florida State, but they still have a top-10 RPI. Carlos Rodon (9-0, 1.59) was named both ACC Pitcher of the Year and Rookie of the Year.
Of note: The Razorbacks allowed just two earned runs, Derrick Bleeker hit three bombs and Matt Reynolds extended his on-base streak to 39 games in a three-game sweep at Tennessee.
Dropped out: UCF
Bubble wrap: UCF, San Diego, Stony Brook, Utah Valley, Oregon State
