The New York Post reported Diehl, a member of both of the Giants' recent Super Bowl-winning teams, struck vehicles on 35th Avenue near 31st Street in Astoria. There were no passengers and Diehl was not injured, according to the newspaper. Peter Schaffer, Diehl's agent, did not discuss the arrest when reached by ESPNNewYork.com. "I am honored to represent David Diehl," Schaffer wrote in an email. "One of, if not the classiest, most humblest New York Giants ever." Diehl, who won the Wellington Mara Man of the Year Award on May 22, tweeted earlier Sunday that he was at Westchester Country Club to attend a charity event. Diehl, who is of Croatian descent, also tweeted Sunday about Croatia's 3-1 victory over Ireland in a European Championship game. Information from ESPNNewYork.com's Ohm Youngmisuk and The Associated Press was used in this report.
