On June 21, Lib Tech co-founder Mike Olson made the drive from Mervin Manufacturing to the Cleanline surfshop in Seaside, Ore., to personally deliver the first batch of Lib Tech Waterboards. It was a big day for Olson, for a couple of reasons. You see, he used to work at Cleanline, as their ding-repair dude back in the early 1980s. You could say that's where he got his start.
Olson's come a long way since then, but he still credits that job and the time he spent at Cleanline for setting him on the path he's currently on. Luckily, there was also some swell that day, so Olson and crew got to go for a surf after dropping off the boards. Not a bad day's work, right? Well, here's Olson to tell you all about it.
