The New York Rangers are bringing back Anton Stralman, signing the defenseman to a two-year contract.
The deal is worth $3.4 million and allows Stralman, who turns 26 years old on Wednesday, to avoid arbitration.
Stralman played in 53 regular-season games last season, recording two goals and 16 assists. He scored three goals during the Rangers' postseason run to the Eastern Conference finals.
Stralman averaged 17 minutes and was most often paired on the blue line with Marc Staal.
