Two weeks after appearing on "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno, Travis Pastrana showed his bi-partisan support in the late-night wars Thursday night by visiting Team Coco to promote his new film, "Nitro Circus: The Movie 3D."
Pastrana used his guest spot on TBS's "Conan" to explain to host Conan O'Brien the difference between Nitro Circus' calculated stunts and the self-destructive and R-rated variety attempted in the "Jackass" films and TV show.
"Nitro physics I wouldn't necessarily call it mathematical," Pastrana told O'Brien. "Most of the guys though on Nitro Circus are athletes. They're all top X Games gold medalists in different sports. I think the biggest difference between 'Nitro Circus' and 'Jackass' is you can take your parents and your kids to 'Nitro Circus' and there's no genitalia in 3D."
Some of Pastrana's pals in Nitro Circus finished off the segment by re-creating a "Freedom Flyers" stunt from the film on a smaller scale outside the TBS studio. See the result in the above video showing Dusty Wygle riding a Big Wheel -- propelled by a giant rubber band -- over a ramp and into an "Angry Birds" styled structure with five other Nitro castmembers standing on it.
