The 2013 Nuclear Cowboyz Tour will stop in 11 U.S. cities beginning Jan. 12 at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo., Feld Motorsports announced Tuesday.

The Nuclear Cowboyz Tour [full schedule below] is an action-packed show set in a post-apocalyptic future setting. It is filled with freestyle motocross, trials riders, quad backflips, pyrotechnics and lasers all synced in to the tunes of heavy metal, alternative rock and electronic dubstep music.

The show takes place in war-torn Los Angeles in 2150. The two legendary Nuclear Cowboyz tribes the Metal Mulisha and the Soldiers of Havoc battle as their survival is threatened by an evil goddess, the Tempest, and her nitro-charged cyborg army. With the help of the Nuclear Cowgirlz, whose allegiance to their tribes only stands to intensify the evil Tempest to destroy the Nuclear Cowboyz. The battle between the Soldiers of Havoc and the Metal Mulisha is settled over gravity-defying freestyle motocross tricks.

"This show is awesome and one of a kind." said rider Mike Mason, a member of the Soldiers of Havoc. "You're getting all the best FMX tricks like you'd see at X Games and you're also getting to see a story created. It's a blast to be a part of it, and I really feel like the crowd enjoys something different when it comes to FMX."

The Nuclear Cowboyz cast will include X Games L.A. 2012 medalists Mason, Ronnie Faisst, Matt Buyten and Taka Higashino and Winter X Games snowmobile gold and silver medalist Colton Moore. Also on the tour are top freestyle riders Adam Jones, Derek Garland, Brody Wilson, Rob Adelberg, Wes Agee, Nick Dunne, Jimmy Fitzpatrick, Geoff Aaron, Keith Wineland and Marco Picado in this adrenaline-packed show of fast music, hard riding and pure excitement.

"The greatest thing about Nuclear Cowboyz is that it is the only place to see freestyle motocross guys performing in this unique way that you can't see in competition. You can't go anyplace in the world and see guys riding two across, three across, four across, doing 12-man trains with quad backflips in them." Juliette Feld of Feld Motorsports said.

Tickets for all stops on the tour will be available for purchase Sept. 21 through Nuclearcowboyz.com and Ticketmaster.com.
