Metal Mulisha ride day

With summer winding down and all the major events coming to an end, we're at that time of the year when riding is becoming a little more relaxed. For some guys this means taking time off and for others it's hitting a light practice to keep the wheels greased.

Tuesday was just that, a light day of ramps after a late summer monsoon storm had come through Temecula, Calif. The dirt was a little bit wet but the air was extremely humid compared with the usual dry heat of Southern California.

Joining in the session was Brian Deegan, Ronnie Faisst, Derek Garland and X Games two-time Best Trick gold medal rider Jackson "Jacko" Strong of Australia. The guys hit the standard 75-foot ramps, the super kicker, which is set up as a hip or for landing straight and hitting a dirt double out, the wallride and a couple of cliff jump lips on the side of the landing.

With everyone looking forward to the weather cooling down, and getting some rain, sights seem to be set on the winter freeriding season that should be here very soon. Keep checking back here for more videos of freeriding, ramp jumps and lifestyle features about numerous characters.
