The team is also listing safety Antrel Rolle as questionable.
Rolle was limited in practice due to a knee bruise he suffered against the Panthers last Thursday, when he collided with a television camera. He had an MRI on Wednesday, which revealed nothing more than a bruise. But he sat out Thursday's practice because of soreness in his knee. Rolle hasn't missed a game in his three seasons with the Giants. Defensive coordinator Perry Fewell expressed confidence that Rolle would play Sunday.
Coach Tom Coughlin said Rolle "moved around OK" during practice on Friday. "He's making progress," the coach added. Also on the injury front, running back Ahmad Bradshaw (neck) is questionable; rookie corner Jayron Hosley (hamstring) is out; tackle David Diehl (knee) is out; linebacker Keith Rivers (hamstring) is out; corner Michael Coe is questionable; corner Corey Webster is probable; receiver Domenik Hixon is probable and defensive end Adewale Ojomo (hamstring) is probable.
If Nicks can't play on Sunday, it will be the second straight week in which he was ruled out shortly before kickoff after the Giants had expected him to suit up. Either Hixon or Ramses Barden will replace Nicks in the starting lineup. Barden had nine catches for 138 yards last Thursday against Carolina. In the secondary, Prince Amukamara will start opposite Webster at corner. Webster will wear a cast on his right hand but is confident that he can perform adequately with the cast.
It is unclear who will replace Holsey as the team's third corner. Fewell can turn to Justin Tryon, Coe or safety Will Hill.
