For today's style bike check we are featuring Taka Higashino's Yamaha YZ 250. Still riding the two-stroke Higashino says, "I have bikes here in U.S. and bikes in Japan, France, if I change to four-stroke I have to change bikes everywhere."
Nevertheless, Higashino seems to be riding the two-stroke just fine. With his first gold medal [Moto X Freestyle] at this year's X Games Los Angeles, the bike is home for the time being.
Because FMX is relatively easy on a bike and most of the time riders never get out of second gear, it's easier to keep up on maintaining a bike or tricking it out with all the latest and greatest accessories.
This is the case for Higashino's bike, it is tricked out to the nines with parts from Zeta, Z Carbon, ODI, SCS, Enzo, Signature bars, graphics kits, and tons of powder coated parts to boot.
