??AP Pro32 comments about Eagles??
NEW YORK -- Comments on the Philadelphia Eagles by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):
PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (11)
Chris Berman (ESPN, 9) -- Loose balls spell trouble.
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 12) -- Finally lost a close game, and Michael Vick's turnover issues remain troubling.
Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 11)
Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 10) -- Probably too high. How about this stat ... San Francisco had a league low 10 turnovers last year. Vick, after five weeks has accounted for 11 himself!
Bob Glauber (Newsday, 9) -- If Michael Vick doesn't stop with all the turnovers, the Eagles will not achieve their Super Bowl dreams.
Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 12) -- QB Michael Vick has thrown six interceptions and lost five fumbles.
Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 10) -- Coming to a neighborhood near you: "Edward Scissorhands," starring Michael Vick. The poor guy has more turnovers (11) than all but six teams. Andy Reid is right: That has to stop.
Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 13) -- This highly regarded pass rush has fallen like autumn leaves.
Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 13) -- The Eagles turn it over and they lose. The Eagle defense is solid, now Mike Vick just has to take care of the ball.
John Lynch (Fox Sports, 9) -- Once the Eagles start protecting the football, this team will be tough to deal with. The defense is one of the better ones in the NFL and we all know how explosive this offense can be.
Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 10) -- Some weeks, the Eagles are good enough to overcome Michael Vick's disturbing penchant for turnovers. A 16-14 loss to Pittsburgh marred by two Vick fumbles wasn't one of those occasions.
Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 9) -- Unless Michael Vick starts taking better care of the football, the Eagles will continue to drop.
