??AP Pro32 comments about Redskins??

Associated Press

NEW YORK -- Comments on the Washington Redskins by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

---

WASHINGTON REDSKINS (19)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 18) -- Eight straight home losses.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 23) -- Keeping Robert Griffin III healthy is the No. 1 priority for this franchise.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 20)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 24) -- I hope RG3 takes a good hard look at that film and realizes he has to do a better job protecting himself. Too many big hits will take there toll.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 18) -- Bigger issue in Washington: the presidential race or RG3's concussion? Tossup.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 21) -- The Redskins have allowed an NFL-high six individual 100-yard receiving games.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 20) -- That RG3 injury has me wondering: Just how does he operate from here on in? He's a marvelous talent, but his strength -- namely, his ability to run -- is also his greatest liability.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 19) -- Sean Weatherspoon just rudely introduced RG3 to the speed and savagery of the NFL.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 17) -- Alfred Morris is an impressive rookie running back and the defense is doing the best it can considering their injuries. RG3 has to play smarter or he will miss games.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 19) -- A hard fought loss to the Falcons. The bigger loss was that of their fabulous QB Robert Griffin III to a concussion. He is special, but will have to learn to protect himself in the NFL.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 17) -- All three Redskins losses have come by seven points or less, including last Sunday's 24-17 home defeat against Atlanta.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 19) -- Keeping RG3 standing and bringing down opponents may be conflicting interests. But the Redskins need to protect the QB.
