Updates/analysis (most recent first)

Sidney Rice active (3:07 p.m. ET): The Seattle Seahawks' official Twitter feed reports that WR Sidney Rice (head, probable) is active. He made a speedy recovery from his nasty injury a week ago, and his probable tag should've been encouragement enough for his fantasy owners. A solid WR3 in any format, Rice is our No. 25 wide receiver for Week 14.

Chris Ivory inactive (3:02 p.m. ET): The New Orleans Saints' official Twitter feed reports that RB Chris Ivory (hamstring) is inactive. It's not much of a loss for the Saints, considering Mark Ingram's improved recent play as well as the healthy presence of Darren Sproles. Ivory is safe to drop if you need his roster spot in most leagues.

Andre Roberts active (3:00 p.m. ET): Darren Urban of the Arizona Cardinals reports that WR Andre Roberts (ankle, questionable) is active for the Arizona Cardinals. Roberts might be limited in his return from an ankle injury, and his matchup is a poor one as well. He's our No. 50 wide receiver for the week.

Beanie Wells active (3:00 p.m. ET): Darren Urban of the Arizona Cardinals reports that RB Beanie Wells (knee, questionable) is active for the Arizona Cardinals. Wells' matchup is extremely unfavorable, and at best he's a flex option for the week. We ranked him the No. 30 running back for Week 14.

Calais Campbell active (3:00 p.m. ET): Darren Urban of the Arizona Cardinals reports that DE Calais Campbell (calf, questionable) is active for the Arizona Cardinals. In his return from a calf injury, Campbell is Jim McCormick's No. 20 defensive lineman for Week 14.

Ahmad Bradshaw active (2:55 p.m. ET): Pat Hanlon of the New York Giants reports that RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot, probable) is active for the New York Giants. Don't worry about his frequent practice absences, because Bradshaw is going to press through any minor injury, as the Giants' clear, all-around No. 1 back ahead of David Wilson. We ranked Bradshaw seventh among running backs for the week.

Hakeem Nicks active (2:55 p.m. ET): Pat Hanlon of the New York Giants reports that WR Hakeem Nicks (knee, questionable) is active for the New York Giants. Nicks' fantasy production has been subpar for a while now, and he's probably playing at a bit beneath 100 percent. Though this is a favorable enough matchup for a wide receiver, don't expect a top-shelf Nicks game. He's our No. 14 wide receiver for the week.

Jason Pierre-Paul active (2:55 p.m. ET): Pat Hanlon of the New York Giants reports that DE Jason Pierre-Paul (back, probable) is active for the New York Giants. Pierre-Paul made minimal fantasy impact playing hurt last week, but he was a probable listing this week and should return to form as a top IDP player. Jim McCormick ranked him his No. 5 defensive lineman for Week 14.

Brandon Jacobs inactive (2:33 p.m. ET): Bob Lange of the San Francisco 49ers reports that RB Brandon Jacobs is inactive. As Jacobs wasn't on the injury report, this appears a healthy scratch. Not surprising; Jacobs was vocal this week about his displeasure with his minimal role. If you didn't cut him long ago, there's no greater evidence you now should.

Mario Manningham inactive (2:33 p.m. ET): Bob Lange of the San Francisco 49ers reports that WR Mario Manningham (shoulder, doubtful) is inactive for the San Francisco 49ers. A.J. Jenkins might see some additional time with Manningham sidelined, though not enough to warrant fantasy consideration.

David Akers active (2:33 p.m. ET): Bob Lange of the San Francisco 49ers reports that K David Akers (pelvis, probable) is active for the San Francisco 49ers. Akers is in the midst of a disappointing fantasy season, and is no longer an automatic in lineups. He's our No. 16 kicker for Week 14.

Rashard Mendenhall inactive (12:04 p.m. ET): ESPN's John Clayton reports that RB Rashard Mendenhall is inactive for the Pittsburgh Steelers. This is a second consecutive healthy scratch for the veteran, impending free agent, and it's again a plus for new starter Jonathan Dwyer. Dwyer is our No. 21 running back for the week.

Jerricho Cotchery active (12:03 p.m. ET): ESPN's John Clayton reports that WR Jerricho Cotchery (ribs, probable) is active for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Cotchery's return is primarily a knock on Plaxico Burress' appeal, not that either warrants fantasy consideration at this stage of their careers. They're both depth receivers, though Cotchery is a stronger choice of the two, if you must.

Ben Roethlisberger active (12:03 p.m. ET): ESPN's John Clayton reports that QB Ben Roethlisberger (right shoulder, probable) is active for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Roethlisberger's healthy return is a huge plus for the Steelers' offense as a whole, but especially the wide receivers. He might need to shake off some rust, which explains our No. 15 ranking of him for the week, but he's worth a look in two-quarterback leagues.

Mike Wallace active (12:03 p.m. ET): ESPN's John Clayton reports that WR Mike Wallace (knee, probable) is active for the Pittsburgh Steelers. With Ben Roethlisberger back under center, Wallace has a fighting chance of a meaningful fantasy day. He's our No. 23 wide receiver for Week 14.

DeMarco Murray active (11:59 a.m. ET): Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports that RB DeMarco Murray (foot, probable) is active for the Dallas Cowboys. Murray had 27 touches in his return to action in Week 13, showing that he's pretty close to full health. With another week to heal, he should be even more locked in as the Cowboys' No. 1 running back. We ranked him 15th for the week.

Felix Jones active (11:59 a.m. ET): Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports that RB Felix Jones (knee, probable) is active for the Dallas Cowboys. Jones is back to backup status following DeMarco Murray's surprisingly productive Week 13. He's our No. 44 running back for the week.

Pierre Garcon active (11:57 a.m. ET): The Washington Redskins' official Twitter feed reports that WR Pierre Garcon (foot, probable) is active. Garcon has touchdowns in back-to-back weeks and 30 fantasy points total in those contests. He's back to being Robert Griffin III's favorite target, and is our No. 15 wide receiver for the week accordingly.

Alshon Jeffery active (11:55 a.m. ET): Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports that WR Alshon Jeffery (knee, probable) is active for the Chicago Bears. Jeffery might not be fully 100 percent, but he's needed right now with Earl Bennett (concussion) sidelined. We didn't rank Jeffery for the week, taking more of a wait-and-see approach, but his usage bears watching for future fantasy matchups (as well as keeper leagues).

Michael Bush active (11:55 a.m. ET): Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports that RB Michael Bush (ribs, questionable) is active for the Chicago Bears. Bush is healthy enough to serve as that frustrating goal-line vulture to starter Matt Forte. Bush's touchdown potential alone is reason for our No. 35 ranking of him among running backs.

Devin Hester active (11:55 a.m. ET): Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports that WR Devin Hester (concussion, probable) is active for the Chicago Bears. Hester should do the bulk of his work on special teams, but he'll be involved as a receiver as well with Earl Bennett sidelined. He's not recommended this week, however.

Stephen Hill active (11:50 a.m. ET): Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that WR Stephen Hill (knee, questionable) is active for the New York Jets. The Jets' passing game simply cannot be trusted what with their quarterback controversy -- not to mention awful play by usual quarterback Mark Sanchez. Hill is a mere desperation option in deeper leagues, and a keeper-league stash.

Tim Tebow active (11:50 a.m. ET): Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that QB Tim Tebow (ribs, questionable) is active for the New York Jets. Interestingly enough, Greg McElroy is inactive for this game, only days after having been under consideration for the start. Tebow's active status puts him in line for relief work should Sanchez struggle yet again, though in no way can fantasy owners trust any of these guys in Week 14.

Dustin Keller inactive (11:50 a.m. ET): Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that TE Dustin Keller (ankle, doubtful) is inactive for the New York Jets. With Keller out, Jeff Cumberland should see a few additional targets.

Jeff Cumberland active (11:50 a.m. ET): Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that TE Jeff Cumberland (wrist, probable) is active for the New York Jets. Cumberland gets the start with Dustin Keller out, though the Jets' awful quarterbacking limits his fantasy appeal to desperation status (which really doesn't belong in fantasy-playoff lineups).

Steve Johnson active (11:45 a.m. ET): The Buffalo Bills' official Twitter feed reports that WR Steve Johnson (hamstring, questionable) is active. It was reported Saturday that Johnson would play, so his fantasy owners should feel free to get him into their lineups. He's our No. 22 wide receiver for Week 14.

Brandon Flowers active (11:43 a.m. ET): The Kansas City Chiefs' official Twitter feed reports that CB Brandon Flowers (hamstring, questionable) is active. Flowers isn't much of an IDP option, but his active status diminishes somewhat the appeal of Josh Gordon's matchup.

A.J. Green active (11:41 a.m. ET): The Cincinnati Bengals' official Twitter feed reports that WR A.J. Green (illness, probable) is active. Green suffered his illness on Friday, but there was never any serious threat to his active status this week. Keep him in your lineup with confidence; he's our No. 2 wide receiver for the week.

Mike Nugent inactive (11:41 a.m. ET): The Cincinnati Bengals' official Twitter feed reports that K Mike Nugent (right calf, doubtful) is inactive. Nugent was effectively ruled out for the week when the Bengals signed Josh Brown to handle their placekicking duties this week. We don't rank or recommend Brown as a fill-in.

Jermaine Gresham active (11:41 a.m. ET): The Cincinnati Bengals' official Twitter feed reports that TE Jermaine Gresham (hamstring, probable) is active. Gresham's was a mid-week injury concern, but he practiced without incident on Friday and shouldn't be limited in Week 14 accordingly. One of the better up-and-coming tight ends the past several weeks, he's our No. 8 tight end for Week 14.

Cedric Peerman inactive (11:41 a.m. ET): The Cincinnati Bengals' official Twitter feed reports that RB Cedric Peerman (ankle, doubtful) is inactive. Peerman's absence puts Brian Leonard into the backup role yet again. Neither is of fantasy relevance.

Michael Turner active (11:37 a.m. ET): The Atlanta Falcons' official Twitter feed reports that RB Michael Turner (elbow, questionable) is active. It's unclear how much Turner will be used considering his questionable tag, especially in light of his limited snap counts the past two weeks. That said, Turner is the team's best touchdown threat of their top two backs, and that makes him worth low-end RB2 status. We ranked him 20th, though expect plenty of Jacquizz Rodgers as the Falcons aim to lighten Turner's load.

William Moore inactive (11:37 a.m. ET): The Atlanta Falcons' official Twitter feed reports that S William Moore (hamstring, questionable) is inactive. This is a blow to IDP owners, as he was a lower-end defensive back in those formats. Get him out of your lineups.

Brandon LaFell inactive (11:35 a.m. ET): The Carolina Panthers' official Twitter feed reports that WR Brandon LaFell (toe, questionable) is inactive. With LaFell sidelined, David Gettis will likely start in his place, not that he's a recommended fantasy option. The Panthers might simply shift things more in Steve Smith and Greg Olsen's favor.

Greg Olsen active (11:35 a.m. ET): The Carolina Panthers' official Twitter feed reports that TE Greg Olsen (back, probable) is active. He could be due for a few additional targets with Brandon LaFell sidelined, and we've ranked him our No. 10 tight end for the week.

Jonathan Stewart inactive (11:35 a.m. ET): The Carolina Panthers' official Twitter feed reports that RB Jonathan Stewart (ankle, doubtful) is inactive. With Stewart out, DeAngelo Williams will get the start and the bulk of the carries again. In the midst of a miserable season, Williams checks in as only our No. 29 running back for the week.

Danny Amendola inactive (11:31 a.m. ET): ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that WR Danny Amendola (foot, questionable) is inactive for the St. Louis Rams. No surprise here. The Rams, who two weeks ago allowed Amendola to play through his injury, have taken a more conservative approach in two games since. With Amendola out, Chris Givens becomes an all-the-more attractive fantasy sleeper. We ranked him our No. 30 wide receiver for Week 14; I had him 22nd, as one of my preferred high-upside options for the week.
