Tucker Hibbert dominated the Blackjack National Pro Open class this weekend to win Rounds 3 and 4 of the AMSOIL Championship Snocross series at the Blackjack resort in Bessemer, Mich.

Hibbert beat Ross Martin of Burlington, Wis., by 15 seconds Saturday and defending ACS Pro Open champ Tim Tremblay of Ste. Jeanne D'Arc, Quebec, finished third.

"It was definitely a lot of fun out there," Hibbert said in a news release. "But it's a challenging track and I'm thankful I got the holeshot. There was a lot of hard work back at the shop the last two weeks to get this sled ripping. Glad we got up here with two wins this weekend."

Despite the two victories, the Pelican Rapids, Minn., snocross racer still trails Robbie Malinoski of Lino Lakes, Minn., by 10 points for the overall Pro Open points lead.

Malinoski swept the first two rounds last month in Duluth, Minn., but was passed by Hibbert on Lap 3 of the Friday's 15-lap final before Hibbert beat him by 23 seconds.

"That was a good 'ol fashion butt whipping I took from Tucker," Malinoski said in a release Friday.

Darrin Mees, who finished third in Round 3, of Stanchfield, Minn., said, "I couldn't believe how far out front Tucker was."

Jake Scott of Port Jefferson Station, N.Y., won the Pro Lite division on Saturday, John Stenberg of Lofsdalen, Sweden, was second and Renaud Alexandre of Val-D'or, Quebec, was third.

David Joanis of Cochrane, Ontario, won Round 3 of the Pro Lites on Friday, followed by James Johnstad of Beltrami, Minn., and Andrew Carlson of Elk River, Minn.

Rounds 4 and 5 of the eight-stop snocross season will take place Jan. 4-5 at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, Minn.
