LAS VEGAS -- Heavyweights Roy Nelson and Matt Mitrione each made weight on Friday for their main event clash at the "The Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale" on Saturday night.
Nelson (17-7) came in at 252 pounds. Mitrione (5-1) was at 257.
The two reunite Saturday, three years after they were teammates during the 10th season of "The Ultimate Fighter" reality series. Nelson emerged as the season's winner that year, after a first-round knockout over Brendan Schaub.
All 24 fighters set to compete on Saturday's card made weight. The event takes place at The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
Lightweight Melvin Guillard (30-11-2) looked all business as he weighed in at 156 pounds. His opponent, former WEC champion Jamie Varner (20-7-1), also came in at 156.
The TUF 16 champion will be decided in a welterweight fight between Mike Ricci (7-2) and Colton Smith (3-1). A heavyweight bout between Shane Del Rosario and Pat Barry rounds out the main card.
Del Rosario (11-1) weighed in at 244 pounds; Barry followed (7-5) at 238.
