Report: Scott Kazmir, Indians agree

Two-time All-Star pitcher Scott Kazmir has reached a minor league deal with the Cleveland Indians that includes an invitation to the big league camp, according to a report by the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
The 28-year-old left-hander spent last season with the Sugar Land Skeeters of the independent Atlantic League and currently is pitching in the Puerto Rican Winter League, where he is 0-2 with a 4.37 ERA in five starts.
Kazmir last pitched in the majors two seasons ago, appearing in one game for the Los Angeles Angels. He led the American League in strikeouts with 239 with Tampa Bay in 2007, and was 66-61 with a 4.17 ERA in eight seasons with the Rays and Angels.
