Miss Da Point wins Aqueduct stakes feature

NEW YORK -- Miss Da Point returned on short rest Monday to get her first stakes win, beating Eyes of Midas by 4½ lengths in the Our Shopping Spree at Aqueduct.

Miss Da Point, fourth in an allowance race Wednesday, led all the way in the test for New York bred 2-year-olds. It was her second win in six starts. Ridden by Irad Ortiz Jr. and trained by John Toscano, Jr., the winner covered the mile and 70 yards in 1:45.02.

Miss Da Point paid $11, $6.50 and $3.30. Eyes of Midas returned $7.20 and $3.70 while Agilion, the 4-5 favorite, paid $2.10 to show.
