The Texas Rangers and outfielder David Murphy agreed to terms Monday on a one-year contract.
Sources told ESPNDallas.com's Richard Durrett that the deal was worth $5.75 million -- the midpoint between the arbitration figures exchanged between the Rangers and Murphy on Friday.
Murphy was the last arbitration-eligible player for the Rangers who had yet to agree on a new deal.
Murphy, 31, is coming off a career year in which he batted .304 with 15 home runs and 61 RBIs in 147 games in his fifth full season with the Rangers.
