The Baltimore Ravens haven't exactly had a storied history at the quarterback position. The one QB who won a Super Bowl with them -- Trent Dilfer -- was a midseason replacement who was let go by the team after winning the Lombardi Trophy. But Joe Flacco is changing things in Baltimore, as he is a big reason the Ravens are headed to the big game for the second time in franchise history. His three-touchdown performance on the road in the AFC Championship Game sent the Ravens to New Orleans and earned him the top spot in this week's Cross-Sport Power Rankings.
Flacco's postseason heroics were enough to beat out the regular-season scoring binge of Kevin Durant. The NBA's three-time defending scoring champ is up to his old tricks again, averaging 36.3 ppg in three games last week. Durant has retaken the scoring lead from Kobe Bryant and is a legitimate MVP candidate.
