In 2005, the court at Thompson-Boling Arena was named after Pat Summitt. Now Tennessee's legendary coach has a banner hanging over it.

Summitt was honored prior to Monday's loss to Notre Dame as Tennessee hoisted a banner to the rafters to hang alongside the Lady Vols' eight national championship banners.

Summitt stepped down in April 2012, about eight months after revealing she had been diagnosed with early-onset dementia, Alzheimer's type. She is now Tennessee's head coach emeritus.

	Former players, from left, Kyra Elzy, Michelle Marciniak, Candace Parker, Chamique Holdsclaw and Tamika Catchings were on hand Monday to help celebrate with Pat Summitt.

	Pat Summitt was accompanied by her mother, Hazel Head, and future daughter-in-law, AnDe Ragsdale, on Monday.

	Just like in 2005 when Pat Summitt became the all-time winningest coach and the court at Thompson-Boling Arena was christened "The Summitt," Hazel Head was on hand Monday to celebrate her daughter.

	Head coach Holly Warlick, the rest of the Tennessee coaching staff and this season's Lady Vols helped honor Pat Summitt.

	From 1974 to 2012, Pat Summitt posted a career record of 1,098 victories to 208 losses.
