Impressive wins Down Under catapulted Novak Djokovic and Victoria Azarenka to the top of this week's Cross-Sport Power Rankings.
"Winning it three in a row, it's incredible," Djokovic said after defeating Andy Murray in the Australian Open final. And incredible is a perfect way to describe his accomplishment, as no other player has won three straight titles Down Under. On the women's side, Victoria Azarenka didn't let the pro-Li Na crowd get to her as she conquered Li for the first time in a Grand Slam tournament and secured her second Aussie Open title.
Lionel Messi is a staple in the top five, and he landed there once again by netting his 200th career La Liga goal. Kyrie Irving and Shaun White joined him after putting up three 30-plus point games and earning a sixth successive gold medal in the SuperPipe, respectively.
