MILWAUKEE -- Chicago Bulls forward Carlos Boozer missed his first game of the season on Wednesday against the Milwaukee Bucks because of a right hamstring injury.
Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said Boozer's injury occurred during Monday's game against the Bobcats. Boozer warmed up with trainers prior to Wednesday night's game but was later ruled out.
Boozer hadn't missed a start the past two seasons. He is having a resurgent season for the Bulls and is averaging 19.5 points and 10.1 rebounds this month.
Taj Gibson started in place of Boozer.
