NEW YORK -- Flying Zealous extended his winning streak to six with a half-length victory over Crown the Chief on Wednesday in the $62,000 allowance feature at Aqueduct.

Bet down to 3-5, Flying Zealous improved to 7 for 8 in a career that didn't begin until last November. The 6-year-old gelding ridden by Cornelio Velasquez ran six furlongs in 1:10.17 for owner-trainer Peter Kazamias.

Flying Zealous paid $3.20, $2.70 and $2.10. Crown the Chief, a 15-1 long shot, returned $8.30 and $4.50, and Take Down Two paid $3.40 to show.
