Gary Harris of Michigan State is returning, JaKarr Sampson will be back at St. John's and CJ Wilcox is back at Washington.

• Congrats to Mick Cronin of Cincinnati, who received a contract extension. He has done a super job with the Bearcats.

• Rutgers brought back one of their own when Eddie Jordan was named head coach. He played on the Final Four team in 1976 and has plenty of head coaching experience in the NBA. He is a perfect fit for the school. Rutgers did suffer a setback when guard Eli Carter announced hi decision to transfer.

• Florida schools made decisions about their coaching vacancies. Cinderella Florida Gulf Coast picked Kansas assistant Joe Dooley to replace Andy Enfield. Florida International found a replacement for Richard Pitino as Norfolk State's Anthony Evans accepted the position.
