FILA to hold Moscow meeting
The federation for international wrestling says it will hold an "extraordinary" congress in Moscow later this month to discuss changes it hopes will help keep the sport in the Olympics.
FILA says its delegates will meet May 18 to talk about new competition rules and putting more women in leadership roles.
FILA also says it will consider allowing increased athlete involvement in organizational matters while discussing non-Olympic styles associated with FILA.
The sport's governing body sent invitations to the meeting to 177 countries. FILA acting President Nenad Lalovic, who is expected to be elected through 2014 during the congress, says it will be one of the most important meetings in the history of the sport.
