ROSMALEN, Netherlands -- Two seeded players were knocked out of the men's event at the grass-court Topshelf Open and a third was struggling before rain caused a suspension of play on Monday.

Sixth-seeded Marcos Baghdatis was a set down to Carlos Berlocq and trailing 2-1 in the second when the covers came out at the traditional Wimbledon warm-up tournament.

Earlier, seventh-seeded Victor Hanescu lost 6-4, 6-3 to Guillermo Garcia-Lopez and Andrey Kuznetsov beat eighth-seeded Daniel Gimeno-Traver 7-6 (4), 6-3.

American teenager Lauren Davis beat Andrea Hlavackova 6-3, 6-4 in the women's event. Third-seeded Carla Suarez-Navarro also advanced with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Johanna Larsson.

Second-seeded Dominika Cibulkova was 2-1 up in the third set of her match against Lourdes Dominguez Lino when play was halted.
