CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Danica Patrick once again joined Oprah Winfrey, Lady Gaga, Steven Spielberg, Bon Jovi and Justin Bieber -- to name a few -- on the World's Most Powerful Celebrities list published by Forbes.
The Sprint Cup rookie ranked 91st. No other driver in motorsports was ranked.
This marks the highest Patrick has ranked. She was 95th in 2007 and 96th in 2010 and 2011.
"It's pretty flattering," Patrick said. "You see the names on that list, and it's pretty incredible to be included. It's obviously great for Go Daddy and for all of my sponsors as well. It's a great honor for me and everyone involved. I'm certainly happy to be included."
On this year's list, the Stewart-Haas Racing driver ranked 83rd in money (estimated $15 million annual income), 55th in TV/radio, 74th in press, 53rd in marketability and 74th in social.
Patrick ranks 27th in the Cup standings with one top-10 finish, eighth in the Daytona 500, after becoming the first woman to win the pole in NASCAR's top series.
Her celebrity status never was more evident than prior to the season when she revealed she was dating fellow Cup rookie Ricky Stenhouse Jr., earning national headlines on the social and sports pages.
Patrick, with Go Daddy as the primary sponsor for her No. 10 Cup car, has appeared in a record 12 Super Bowl commercials. She has one of the biggest endorsement portfolios in sports with 15 personal sponsors, including Coca-Cola, Nationwide Insurance, Tissot and Chevrolet.
