Mickleson comes back, wins Open

ESPN SportsNation

For the first time in his illustrious career, Phil Mickelson hoisted the Claret Jug on Sunday. Lefty started his final round at 2-over-par and five shots back, but overcame that deficit as he birdied four of his final six holes on the tough greens of Muirfield Golf Club in Scotland to distance himself from the field. While Mickelson was playing his way to an Open Championship, Chris Froome was riding his way to a Tour de France victory. After securing the title, Froome made sure to let the world know his win isn't tainted by saying, "I won't let you down like Lance Armstrong. This Tour de France champion is for real."

Dodgers' shortstop Hanley Ramirez landed the No. 3 spot for having a hot bat, while Serena Williams and the Mets' Matt Harvey rounded out the top five for their success dominating opponents on the courts and on the mound.
